Non-Point Source Pollution Program (Clean Water Action Section 319)
The Water Program also added Clean Water Act, Section 319 to the Tribal Programs in 2013.
The program is used to address the issues identified in Tribal Waters through the 106 Program.
The US EPA provides funding for the Tribe to work with partnering agencies on water quality improvement
projects such as stream bank restoration, erosion reduction, filter strips, and more to reduce the
pollution in Tribal Waters.
