Protect the best interests of tribal children and families by assuring their safety and reducing risk of harm, while promoting the vision, mission and core values of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan through services That strengthens and support families.



Mission Statement

Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan is the primary agent delegated by and through the Tribal Children’s Code, Title II, to provide social services including protective services to tribal children. 

With well-being and safety as its first concern, the Department’s Mission is:

“Promote the safety and well-being of tribal children, youth, elders and vulnerable adults and their families, with services that are competent, embracing the highest of ethical principles and, that strengthens and support families;  Services guided by the Tribal community’s values of;

We Are Living Arts 3 Day Virtual Workshop

We have 10 spaces open for Tribal Youth to sign up for this interactive 3 Day Virtual Arts Workshop this weekend. Youth will be collaborating with Native artists from California. This is open for Tribal youth age 13-18 years old. Please email me to register your student.

Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s Project Venture Tribal Youth Program was nominated to receive this Free 3 Day Virtual Arts integration through WE ARE LIVING ARTS. This program is based out of Southern California and was created by Jeri Brunoe-an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon & nationally known and highly respected public speaker, youth leadership expert, an educator as well as a gifted writer, and an actor.
