Nimkee Memorial Wellness Center (NMWC) has achieved a three year accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Accreditation distinguishes this Tribal community health clinic from many other facilities by providing the highest quality of care to its patients as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation. NMWC’s current accreditation term is from May 24, 2017 to May 23, 2020.

Status as an accredited organization means NMWC has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care set by AAAHC. More than 5,000 ambulatory health care organizations across the United States are accredited by AAAHC. Of the 5,000 accredited organizations NMWC is one of just over one hundred organizations accredited by AAAHC in Indian Country.

The Nimkee Memorial Wellness Center has a medical/ambulatory care clinic, dental clinic and public health department. We are located at 2591 South Leaton Road in Mt. Pleasant and may be reached at 989-775-4600 if you have any questions.
