Information Technology: Training
The IT Technical Training Division is available to assist all associates within the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe's organization. Our goal is to support and aid associates with their job duties and help them understand and effectively utilize the Microsoft Office Products. We offer a variety of instructor led Microsoft Office training sessions, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Publisher. We also offer ongoing Keyboarding courses to increase your typing efficiency.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Office of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe handles all recruitment, application and job placement for individuals interested in seeking employment here. There are a wide variety of available opportunities. The tribe supports an array of activities similar to what you find in any municipality, including hotel and gaming enterprises, governmental services, and educational administration.

Families Enjoy Niibing Baby Celebration 6-29-16

Team Observer was on location at the Elijah Elk Cultural Center for the June 29 Niibing Baby Celebration held at Seventh Generation with support from the Nimkee Memorial Wellness Center. Nimkee Healthy Start Child Nurse Anna Hon gave the invocation for the meal and was pleased to be able to share with the community the wonderful blessings on the six new babies that made their debut this past year.

Saganing Traditional Powwow Arbor Building

Team Observer was on location June 17 at the Saganing Traditional Powwow grounds as At-Large/Members Services staff joined with SECR and Saganing Eagles Lansing Maintenance crews in preparation for the June 18 and 19 event. Tribal Chief Frank Cloutier provided some sweat equity and went shoulder to shoulder with the volunteers who constructed the powwow arbor.
