2015 Family Olympics Golf Scramble

Hosted by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe at the Wabooz run golf course. Thursday, July 16, 2015.

Registration (includes 18 holes w/cart and lunch)
With $10 paid MIFO Registration = $25.00 per player
Golf Only Registration = $35.00 per player

No Refunds after games begin.

Two slots will be held for each tribe in each tee time/division until June 21, 2014 after this date all registrations will be accepted up to the 25 team limit for each tee time.

Seniors: Women 50 & over - Men 50 & Over
Men’s Open 18 - 49 
Women’s Open 18 - 49 
Youth 17 & under any mix

Tee times for each Division:

10 am - Youth - Red tees
10 am Senior Women - White tees
10 am Women’s open - Blue tees
1pm Senior Men - Blue tee’s
1pm Men’s Open - Blue tee’s

Rules for 2014 Olympic Games at Waabooz

         
  1. All Players must be Native American.
  2.      
  3. Registration fees must be paid in full before tee times.
  4. The first 25 teams to register for each tee time will play with the exception that at least one team from each tribe is registered.
  5. This is an alternate shot format, players will alternate shots off the tee. (Example: player 1 tee’s off player 2 will take the 2nd shot player 1 takes the 3rd shot. Player 2 will tee off the next hole and the rotation will continue.)
  6. There are no club lengths allowed around the trees/shrubs.  The only time a club length is allowed is if the shot is out of bounds.  If the shot is out of bounds, then the player gets a club length from the point of entry and adds a stroke. Out of bounds holes are 4, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14 and 15.
  7. All teams must keep a steady pace of play.  Do not spend 3 minutes or more looking for bad shots.
  8. Use of alcohol is not allowed during this event.
  9. Scorecards must be turned in at the end of the day and signed by one person from each team on the card.
  10. Medals will be awarded to the winning teams at the end of the round both players will need to be present for photo’s.
