Water Treatment
The Mission of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe Utilities Department is to provide services that meet
or exceed the EPA and BIA standards to the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and to be an asset to the
community. To accomplish this all staff maintain certifications and licenses which allows the following
services to include but are not limited to: Safe Drinking Water; Waste Water Treatment; Recycling;
Distribution System Maintenance for both water and sewer; Community wide Fire Suppression ability;
Snow Removal; Cost effective in-house repairs and testing; Community Education; and 24/7 Availability.
