Council to fill District 1 vacancies

Saginaw Chippewa Tribal leaders have decided to appoint members to the two vacant District 1 seats. It is not known who will be named to the positions or when the appointments will take place as of an April 29 press deadline.

Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police are taking a zero tolerance posture for local youth riding irresponsibly on their off-road vehicles and go-carts around the Isabella Reservation. As of May 1, authorities will be issuing tickets for careless and reckless driving, as well as not wearing helmets.
