All final drug test results must be returned to the Tribal Clerk no later than one day prior to the approved date for the posting of the candidate list for the general election. For special elections, drug test results must be returned to the Tribal Clerk no later than one day prior to the approved date for the posting of the candidate list for the special election.

It is the responsibility of the prospective candidate to schedule his/her drug test as soon as possible so that all final results will be returned to the Tribal Clerk within the time frames set forth above.

Pursuant to Ordinance 4 of the Tribal Code, candidates for an election must take a hair follicle drug test. The results for a hair follicle drug test could take between five (5) to ten (10) business days to be returned. It is the obligation of the prospective candidate to schedule his/her drug test with the Wellness Central Community Hospital as soon as possible so that his/her drug results are submitted to the Tribal Clerk within the time frames specified above.

Please note: If the results of the initial drug test are positive or inconclusive, then a second test will be required. The results of a second test must be returned to the Tribal Clerk within the time frames set forth above. The prospective candidate should schedule his/her first drug test immediately so that in the event a second test is necessary, the results of that second test will be submitted to the Tribal Clerk within the time frames specified in this notice. No extra time, beyond that time set forth above, will be allotted for a person to have his/her drug test results submitted to the Tribal Clerk.

If all final results of the hair follicle drug test for any prospective candidate are not received by the Tribal Clerk within the time frames set forth above, such person shall be automatically disqualified from participating as a candidate for the election.
