Celebrating Linda Krager's retirement 5-21-15

Joseph V. Sowmick - May 21, 2015

In an effort to provide bonus coverage, Team Observer joins the Saginaw Chippewa Accounting Department and many Tribal Operations employees as they celebrated Tribal Operations Accountant Linda Krager retirement after serving over 15 years for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.

In a prepared statement, the Tribal Operations Accounting Department would like to take a moment to let everyone know we are unfortunately losing a wonderful employee, Ms. Linda Krager, who is now retiring.  Linda has worked in the Accounting Department since March 22, 1999.  During her 15+ years here at SCIT, she has been the accountant for the Behavioral Health and Nimkee programs.

Tribal Operations Controller Jackie Reger extended an invitation to TOPS employees to celebrate her retirement to show gratitude for all she has accomplished.

“Linda has been a blessing for all of us here in our crazy basement world.  She came to us over 15 years ago and has assisted in many aspects of both Nimkee and Behavioral Health accounting.  As the Tribe grew, so did her role and responsibilities within our department.  At one point she was the accountant for more programs than any other accountant in our department! She was diligent in her work and efforts, and many times took on more than an individual should, but she truly loved her place here at SCIT,” Reger recalls.   “We (her second family), loved her for all she did on a personal note.  She attended every graduation open house and birthday party she was invited to.  She was also in attendance at the funerals we endured through the years.  She was one of a kind and cannot be replaced…..we all thank God she was part of our department world for these 15 amazing years!”
