Council Swearing In Ceremony

In an effort to provide regular bonus coverage throughout the month, Team Observer joins with Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Court Judge Patrick Shannon, Tribal Council Administration staff and Tribal Public Relations in welcoming the newly sworn in 2013-2015 Tribal Council.  Please join us in celebration of our new elected officials:  Tribal Chief Steve Pego, Tribal Sub-Chief Lorna Kahgegab Call, Tribal Council Treasurer Shelley (Foster) Bailey and Tribal Council Secretary Sandy Sprague.  Also elected to Council positions of Sergeant at Arms and Tribal Chaplain were Ron Nelson and Jennifer Wassegijig.  Other Council members include Julius Peters, Lindy Hunt, Delmar Jackson, Sr., Chip Neyome, Tim Davis and Michele Stanley.   The Tribal Public Relations department is preparing a press release for the media and the Tribal web site.  An article on the new Council will be included in your January 2014 edition of the Tribal Observer.
