ACFS Burrito Fundraiser
Joseph V. Sowmick - October 13, 2013
In an effort to provide regular bonus coverage throughout the month, Team Observer joins Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services in support of their Burrito Fundraiser for the Foster Care Program.
With the help of the Tribal community/employees the ACFS Foster Care Program has raised $477 minus expenses for the Breakfast Burrito Fundraiser and 50/50! In our raffle drawing portion, Angela Osterman was the winner of the girl Halloween costume and Lacey Mandoka was the winner of the boy Halloween costume. "I would like to say thank you to everyone that attended our fundraising event," ACFS Foster Care Specialist Angela Gonzalez exclaimed. "I want to really send a special thanks to my co-workers; Deb Cicalo, Samantha Strand, Eliza Owl, Shuna Stevens and my daughters (Alicia and Jasmine Gonzalez) for helping out with cooking, cleaning, orders and deliveries." Gonzalez also offered a special hank you to ACFS Admin. Assistant Felicia Bross for manning the phone at the office and answering inquiries about the fundraiser.
