The Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Business Board will provide two workshops for Tribal members interested in starting their own business.

The workshops will include guidance on establishing and developing a business plan.

The first 10 Tribal members to respond will receive free registration.

Beginning Dec. 1-from 1 to 4 p.m.-the first class will take place at Mid Michigan Community College in Mt. Pleasant, 5808 E. Pickard, Room A.

Topics covered will include the fundamentals of starting a business, while providing common sense information on organization prior to creating a company.

On Dec. 6-from 1 to 4 p.m.-the second session will also take place at Mid Michigan Community College in Mt. Pleasant, 5808 E. Pickard, Room A.

Whether you are a start-up or an existing company, a good business plan is critical to your success. Learn the components of a business process to complete the plan. Bank officers will require a business plan.

The Tribal Business Board has also been compiling a directory containing a list of Tribal members and descendents who own their own business.

The purpose of the directory is to promote the businesses among membership.

To be included on the directory, send your name, business name, business address, type of business, and contact information to: Tribal Business Board, 7500 Soaring Eagle Blvd, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 or BusinessBoard@sag chip.org.
