Timothy Davis, who has served on several Tribal Councils, was the election's top vote getter with 203. Of the 809 registered voters in the district, 439 participated in the primary election for a 54 percent turnout. Results are unofficial and there is a seven-day protest period before they are certified. Several protests are expected to be filed over the election.
