Brett Henry Snowden, 40, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo with his family by his side.
Funeral Services for Brett will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Selvidge officiating. Interment will follow in Chippewa Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6th, from 12 noon until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the . Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Brett was born on January 7, 1972 in Lapeer, Michigan the son of William and Linnie (Sutphin) Snowden. Brett was self employed as a mason. He was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Brett enjoyed cooking and fishing.
Brett is survived by children, Cassie Jo Snowden; Jared Lee Snowden both of Weidman; Phoenix Slater Snowden of Mt Pleasant; Jesse N. Snowden; Cody Russell Everett Snowden both of Weidman and Ayla Marie Snowden of Shepherd; father, William Snowden of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, J.D. Snowden of Jackson; William (Diane) Snowden of Coldwater and Shad (Mallisa) Snowden of Edmore.
Brett was preceded in death by his mother, Linnie Snowden on March 4, 2009.
