Gerald "Jerry" Lee McDonald, 72, of Mount Pleasant passed away on February 27, 2012 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Funeral Services for Gerald will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2012, at 11 am with Rev. Owen White-Pigeon officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 1, from 6 - 9 pm and on Friday, March 2, from 10 am until the time of service. Internment will follow at Denver Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may go towards funeral expenses. Donations will be available at the funeral chapel.
Gerald was born on December 20, 1939 in Rosebush, the son of George and Mable (Westbrook) McDonald. Gerald was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Gerald is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ester Bennett, Laura Sprague, George McDonald, Jr. and Robert McDonald.
