BAKER, Leoda (Lee) - of Flint, formerly of Lansing, age 79, passed away July 23, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Glenn Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday and 12-1 pm Tuesday.
Lee was born in Detroit, MI on November 18, 1931, daughter of the late William and Catherine (Wheaton) Dailey. She was married to Leon Baker for 41 years and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1994. Lee worked as a nursing aide. She loved to play Bingo, spend time with her two puppies, Mandy and Holly and her cat, Callie.
Lee is survived by her daughter, Marilynn Baker-Inman; son-in-law, Scott Inman; granddaughter, Michelle Austin; grandson, Carl Jackson and family; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; honorary son, Gene Bowyer; honorary daughters, Bonnie Burns and Connie Gilford; daughter, Linda Austin. She was preceded in death by her son, Ron Jackson.
