Ralph L. "Bucky" Stevens passed away on Sunday evening, April 3, 2011 at the
Cartwright Care Center, Saginaw. Age 80 years. He
was born on March 2, 1931 in St Charles to the late
Joseph and Dorothy (DeWalt) Stevens. He married
Joan K. Novak on June 7, 1958, she preceded him in
death on December 6, 2009. Ralph was a Veteran of
the US Navy and served during the Korean War and
was a life member of the American Legion. Ralph was
a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and
member ofSt Mary's Catholic Church of Albee. Ralph
retired from Saginaw Steering Gear Plant 2 and was a
member of the UAW Local 699.
Surviving is his son, Darren (Stacy) Stevens of
Amosville, Virginia. 2 grandchildren, Noah and
Benjamin; 2 sisters and 1 brother, Genevieve Rehmanr
of Hemlock; Paul (Evonnna) Stevens ofSt Charles and
Audrey (Ron) Duensing of Brant.
Also nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,
Harold Stevens.
Funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, April 7,
2011 at 11 :00 am at St Mary's Catholic Church of
Albee. Fr. Todd Amberg will officiate with burial in S1
Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the WalkerMartin
Funeral Home, Chesaning on Wednesday from
2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. and at church on
Thursday after! 0:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorials
are suggested to Cartwright Hospice Residence or
Albee Township Fire Department.
