Mary Lou Cohee
Passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at her home, age 73 years.
Mary was born in Saginaw, Michigan August 15, 1936 the daughter of the late Harry and Rose (LaPlant) Miner. Mary was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and the FOE Auxiliary No. 497. She enjoyed reading, gardening, especially planting moonflowers and sewing. She loved spending time with her family and friends and playing Keno.
Mary is survived by three children, Kelly (Mark) Roberts, Jeff Shook and Lindsy Sanford; two grandchildren, Jessica Roberts and Jayda Ruiz; a brother, Robert (Mary Jane) Miner; a sister, Rosalee (Ken) Bloom; several nieces and nephews, including William Nettleton and Rhonda Averill. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Cohee; three brothers, Donald, Jerry and Walter Miner and a sister, Etta Nettleton.
The funeral service will take place 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Doyle Perry will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family wishes.
