Regularly Scheduled Events

Every Thursday: Sacred Fire Lunch: 12:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m.
The Sacred Fire is lit every Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.for anyone wanting to make an offering of Ceremonial Tobacco. Offering tobacco is a good way to pray for help and guidance, and is a good way to stay in balance. This is a chance for people to offer prayers for our loved ones and to remember our ancestors who have passed on to the Spirit World.  Drop in to enjoy a home cooked luncheon served promptly at noon and to visit with our friendly Staff.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings Open Wood and Stone Sculpting
The Elijah Elk Cultural Center Stone and Woodshop are open from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm for anyone interested in making a sculpture, a wood craft project, make a hand drum , or a feather box. Whatever your interest may be, there is a skilled instructor to give you advice and guidance. There is no appointment needed, just drop in and register for a class or project.

Every Thursday Afternoon Talking Circle From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
The Talking Circle is a great way to unwind from life’s challenges or to share quality time with people from the community. Talking Circle provides a safe environment where people can talk openly about what is happening in their lives. What is shared within the Sacred Circle cannot be discussed with anyone outside that circle of trust. Many people on the path to recovery find the Circle an excellent way to stay balanced and maintain their recovery. A home cooked meal follows each circle.
