Men Dancing with Fancy Shawls
This special is one that is geared towards all men. A man will ask a woman fancy dancer to borrow their shawl. This event is usually one that takes some style and grace (just kidding), but something that is very awesome to watch. Each dancer will dance with this shawl to try and win one of the prizes.

Armed Forces Sneak Up
Every year we honor those Men and Women who have served in the Armed Forces. This year we wanted to dedicate a special just for those wanting to participate.
This will be a two song special, where anyone in or out of regalia will be able to dance for a chance to win one of three places.

- 3rd place $200
Generations Freestyle
This event is for families to participate in as a group. This special is where you can dance with Grandparents, Parents, Children and Grand Children. This is a team effort and very elegant to watch. In many cases, Grandparents and Parents are the ones who first got their children and Grandchildren to dance. So this is a chance to see the similarities between the generations. Each team will participate to win one of the following prizes.

Youth Hand Drum Contest (ages 17 & under)
This Special is dedicated to the youth who want to participate in this event. This special is for boys under the age of 17 who want to drum either alone or with two other people for a chance to win one of the following payouts.

Clown Dance
This event is open to everyone and anyone that wants to have a chance to show some moves while getting a little silly. This event is a clean event, so anyone wanting to participate must make it kid friendly. We have seen participants, dress up like actual clowns, or do a combination of funny and/or traditional clothing. Each person participating will be dancing to win one of the following prizes.

Women Dancing Grass
This Special is where women ages 17 and older will get the chance to show their moves while dancing in a Grass Dance Outfit. Usually, the women will ask a male dancer to borrow their outfit for this. Each participant is dancing for a chance to win a prize amount.

Drum Group Dance off
This event is geared toward the participating drum groups. Each group wanting to participate will select the minimal amount of members present to participate in this event. This number will be determined by the Pow wow Committee at the time of the event.
Each Drum group participating will be dancing together, in a style in which is kid friendly and yet together as a group.
