Recent mechanical complication has forced the Broadway Theatre to move their holiday production “The Celebration of Christmas” to another stage.

In a press release provided by Friends of the Broadway Board President Cindy Kilmer, it states:  “Due to a furnace malfunction in the Broadway Theatre, Mr. John Klak from the Mt. Pleasant High School has graciously invited the Broadway's Celebration of Christmas to move to the high school's stage for its first weekend's Saturday and Sunday performances. The Friends of the Broadway apologize for the inconvenience, but the Friday, December 4th performance is cancelled. The Celebration of Christmas will be performed on Saturday December 5th at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday, December 6th at 2:00 pm. on the high school stage.  People who bought tickets for the Friday evening performance that has been cancelled may use them for any other performance over the remaining two weekends.  Information about the second weekend's scheduled performances will be forthcoming as more information becomes available about the repair status of the Broadway's furnace.”

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and Migizi properties are proud sponsors of the Broadway production “The Celebration of Christmas” and encourage the community to come out and support the arts through the holiday season.
