2021 SCIT Run-Off Election

A Run-off Election was held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 and has determined the tenth member from District One earning a seat on Tribal Council for the 2021-2023 term. A tie during the General Election allowed Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s District One members the opportunity to select one of two candidates for the tenth and final seat in the Run-Off Election. Voter participation for the 2021 Run-Off Election was 28.21%. Please see the attached results sheet for complete details on the 2021 Tribal Council Run-Off Election. The Election Caucus Committee has reviewed and certified the results of the Run-Off Election for 2021.
