Registration for SCTC Spring classes is open. For more information please contact the Tribal College at (989) 317-4760.

 

Recreation’s “Reasons for the Season” will take place Monday, December 4th from 6 pm – 9 pm in the Tribal Gym.

 

The Swearing-In of Tribal Council will be held in the Tribal Gym on Tuesday, December 5th at 9 am.

 

Last Day for Performance Circle Class will be held Tuesday, December 5th from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Ziibiwing.

 

SCA’s Winter Program “Gchi Grinch 2” will take place Wednesday, December 6th from 6 pm – 8 pm in SECR’s Entertainment Hall.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, December 6th & Wednesday, December 20th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Recreation Teen Lounge.

 

Language Bingo will take place at Andahwod on Thursday, December 7th from 1 pm – 3 pm.

 

Winter Baby Celebration will be held at 7th Generation on Thursday, December 7th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

 

Ziibiwing’s Annual Appreciation Dinner will be held on Thursday, December 7th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, December 7th from 7 pm – 9:00 pm in the Tribal Operations Seniors Room.

 

Artist-In-Residence Leather Belt Workshop takes place at Ziibiwing Monday, December 11th through Friday, December 15th from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

 

Performance Circle Winter Graduation will take place at Andahwod on Tuesday, December 12th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast at Andahwod on Wednesday, December 13th from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Tribal Observer January Issue Deadline will be Wednesday, December 13th by 5 pm.

 

Traditional Healer, Donnie Dowd, will be at Behavioral Health on Thursday, December 14th and Friday, December 15th from 9 am – 5:30 pm. Please call (989) 775-4850 for an appointment.

 

Anishinaabemowin & Sacred Fire Lunch will be held at 7th Generation Thursday, December 14th from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Behavioral Health Prevention will be hosting a Family Dance on Thursday, December 14th from 6 pm – 9 pm at 7th Generation.  

 

Star Wars the Last Jedi Family Movie Night will be showing at Celebration Cinema Friday, December 15th at 7:30 pm with a Meet & Greet beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets will be available at $5/pair beginning Monday, December 11th at 7:45 am in the Tribal Operations Lobby on a first come first serve basis. Community Cultural Teaching takes place Saturday, December 16th from 1 pm – 4 pm at Ziibiwing.

 

Christmas Family Bingo will be held in the Tribal Gym on Monday, December 18th from 6 pm – 9 pm.

 

Andahwod’s Name that Tune will take place Tuesday, December 19th from 3 pm – 4 pm.

 

SCA Family Christmas Extravaganza will be held on Tuesday, December 19th from 5 pm – 8 pm at the Saginaw Chippewa Academy.

 

SCIT Elders Christmas Brunch will be held Wednesday, December 20th from 11 am – 1 pm and SCIT Elder Christmas Party from 1:30 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Board Meeting will be held Thursday, December 21st from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

Sasiwaans Immersion School Winter Program will take place Thursday, December 21st at 6 pm in the Tribal Gym.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Monthly Forum will be held Thursday, December 21st from 7 pm – 9:00 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

SCIT Elders New Year’s Eve Balloon Drop will be held Sunday, December 31st at Andahwod.

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4 pm – 6 pm.

 

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays 6 pm at Andahwod.

 

Language Drop-In takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. For more information call ALRD at (989) 775-4110.

 

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health offers drop-in relapse prevention groups on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

 

Keyboarding and Open Lab is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the Black Elk IT

Training Room.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin Learning will be held every Tuesday & Thursday from 6 pm – 7 pm at the ALRD building. For more information call ALRD at (989) 775-4110.

 

Saganing now offers Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture every first and third Wednesday from 11 am – 4 pm. For more information please call (989) 775-4895.

 

Traditional Teachings take place every first and third Wednesday from 11 am – 4pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Saganing Talking Circle takes place every first and third Wednesday from 5 pm – 6pm. For more information call (989) 775-4850.

Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 3 pm – 5 pm for youth ages 7 to 11 and 5 pm – 7 pm for ages 12 to 15.

 

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held on Fridays at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services from 10:30 am – 12 pm.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.
