Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, March 1st, Wednesday, March 15th and Wednesday, March 29th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Teen Lounge/Youth Council Office located in the Tribal Gym.

 

Traditional Healer Donnie Dowd will be at Behavioral Health on Thursday, March 2nd from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. Please call for (989) 775-4850 for an appointment.

 

Language Bingo at Andahwod Thursday, March 2nd from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, March 2nd from 7 pm – 9 pm in the Tribal Operations Seniors Room.

 

Fish Fry at Andahwod will take place Friday, March 3rd, Friday, March 17th and Friday, March 31st from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

 

SCTC Student Council Pancake Breakfast will be held in the Tribal Gym Kitchen on Tuesday, March 7th from 8 am – 11 am.

 

SCTC Student Council Soup and Sandwich Fundraiser will be held in the Tribal Gym Kitchen Wednesday, March 8th from 10 am – 2 pm.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, March 8th & Wednesday, March 22nd at Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Half Day for SCA Students on Thursday, March 9th & Friday, March 10th for Staff Professional Development.

 

“Be WELL Challenge Group” will take place at Nimkee Public Health Kitchen on Thursday, March 9th & Thursday, March 23rd from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin Sacred Fire Lunch will be held Thursday, March 9th & Thursday, March 23th from 12 pm – 1 pm at 7th Generation Ceremonial Building.

 

SCA Round Dance will be held Friday, March 10th & Saturday, March 11th in the Tribal Gym. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Forest Understory Project: Community Meeting, Meal and Field Trip will take place Monday, March 13th from 3 pm – 5 pm. Meet at the 7th Generation Cultural Building. Contact Environmental at (989) 775-4147 for more information.

 

Recreation “Luau” will take place in the Tribal Gym Monday, March 13th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

SCTC STEM Club Celebrates PI Day on Tuesday, March 14th from 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm at the SCTC East Building Room 6.

 

Community Education: Business Workshop will be held at the Tribal College on Wednesday, March 15th from 12 pm – 1:20 pm. (SCTC East Building Classroom 6)

 

Bingo with Friends at Andahwod takes place Wednesday, March 15th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. (BH Prevention)

 

Painting with Families takes place on Wednesday, March 15th from 6 pm – 8:30 pm.

 

Housing “Asset Building” Management will be held on Thursday, March 16th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Housing office on Broadway.

Baby Swing & Moss Bag Workshop will be held at Ziibiwing Monday, March 20th through Friday, March 24th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

 

Bingo with Friends will be held Tuesday, March 21st from 10:30 am – 2 pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Volleyball Clinic will be held Tuesday, March 21st from 5:30 pm – 7 pm in the Eagle’s Nest Gym.

 

Vendor Workshop at Ziibiwing on Wednesday, March 22nd from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

SCA Science Fair will be held on Thursday, March 23rd from 8 am – 3:30 pm.

 

Moccasin Making Class at 7th Generation on Wednesday, March 29th & Thursday, March 30th from 5 pm- 8 pm.

 

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

 

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays 6 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week.  Mondays  -  5:30  pm to 7 pm  and  Fridays  - 11:30  am  to 1 pm.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held every Tuesday at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services.

 

Performance Circle Classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Ziibiwing.

 

Crafts with Friends will be held every Tuesday from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the 7th Generation Building.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

Jewelry with Kay at Andahwod takes place the first Tuesday of month from 1:30 pm – 3 pm.

 

Open Crafts with Elisa at Andahwod every Tuesday at 5 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin Learning is held every Tuesday and Thursday  from 6 pm – 7 pm at the ALRD building. For more information call ALRD at (989) 775-4110.

 

Keyboarding and Open Lab is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the IT

department.

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Beading & Craft Classes are held every Thursday  from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Behavioral Health.

 

Sweat Lodge at Behavioral Health 5:30 pm – 11:00 pm every first Friday of the month.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.

2017 Annual Report Form Deadline May 4, 2017 by 5pm (no post mark or faxes will be accepted).
