Blind Date with a Book is going on in the Tribal Library until Friday, February 10^th.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, February 1^st & Wednesday, February 15^th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Teen Lounge/Youth Council Office located in the Tribal Gym.

 

“Crash the Fitness Center” will take place on Thursday, February 2^nd.

 

Traditional Healer Donnie Dowd will be at Behavioral Health on Thursday, February  2^nd & Friday, February 3^rd from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. Please call for (989) 775-4850 for an appointment.

 

Language Bingo at Andahwod Thursday, February 2^nd from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Ziibiwing Collection Showing will be held Saturday, February 4^th 10 am – 3 pm and will be displayed until Saturday, February 11^th.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, February 8^th & Wednesday, February 22^nd at Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Anishinaabemowin at Heart Healthy Breakfast will take place Thursday, February 9^th at Nimkee Public Kitchen 8 am – 10 am.

 

Housing “Asset Building” Management will be held on Thursday, February 9^th 12 noon – 1 pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Anishinaabemowin Sacred Fire Lunch will be held Thursday, February 9^th & Thursday, February 23^th from 12 pm – 1 pm at 7^th Generation Ceremonial Building.

 

Elders Valentine’s Box Social will take place at Andahwod Saturday, February 11^th 3 pm – 5 pm.

 

Tribal Observer February issue deadline is Tuesday, February 14^th at 5 pm. 

 

Community Education: Business Workshop will be held at the Tribal College on Wednesday, February 15^th from 12 pm – 1:20 pm. (SCTC East Building Classroom 6)

SCIT Higher Education Scholarship Deadline is Wednesday, February 15^th by 5 pm.

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

 

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays 6 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week.  Mondays  -  5:30  pm to 7 pm  and  Fridays  - 11:30  am  to 1 pm.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held every Tuesday at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services.

 

Performance Circle Classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Ziibiwing.

 

Crafts with Friends will be held every Tuesday from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the 7^th Generation Building.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge.

 

Jewelry with Kay at Andahwod takes place the first Tuesday of month from 1:30 pm – 3 pm.

 

Open Crafts with Elisa at Andahwod every Tuesday at 5 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin Learning is held every Tuesday and Thursday 6 pm – 7 pm at the ALRD building.

 

Keyboarding and Learnkey is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the IT

department. 

 

Saganing now offers Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture every first and third Wednesday from 11 am – 4 pm. For more information please call (989) 775-4895.

 

Lunch Bunch Anishinaabemowin is held on Wednesdays from 12 noon – 1 pm at the ALRD building.

 

Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 6 pm to 9 pm.

 

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Beading & Craft Classes are held every Thursday  from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Behavioral Health.

 

Sweat Lodge at Behavioral Health 5:30 pm – 11:00 pm every first Friday of the month.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.
