Tribal youth and chaperones braved the rapids, scaled down
mountains and rode on horse back for hours through the rough
terrain of the West Virginia mountains. It was a “wet
trip” with that part of the country getting a lot of
rain that week. Some youth were not too fond of the trip,
but when it was time to go they did not want to go home!
