Anna M. Crampton

March 5, 1927 - June 2, 2013

Age 86, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013. She was born on March 5, 1927 in Isabella County, MI, the daughter of Michael and Eliza (Peters) Neyome. Anna was a resident of Haslett since 1952, after moving from Lansing. She was a graduate of Eastern High School. She retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Social Services, after many years of service as an Indian Outreach Worker. Anna was a proud member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.

Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Crampton, her parents, and children, Cordell Crampton, Rockney Crampton, Roderick Crampton and Janine Shelley Crampton. Surviving are her children, Linell Sue Crampton, Kayle Ranae Crampton, Darcy Ione Crampton, Marclay (Stacey) Crampton; daughter-in-law Kimberly Ann Crampton, 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, with internment following at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
