Traditional Teachings in Saganing will take place on Wednesday, November 2nd from 11 am to 1 pm at the Tribal Center.

 

SCA Parent Advisory Meeting will be held Wednesday, November 2nd from 5 pm – 6 pm in the SCA Cafeteria.

 

Language Bingo at Andahwod on Thursday, November 3rd at 1pm.

 

Soup Day will be held Friday, November 4th from 12 pm – 1 pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Traditional Healer, Donnie Dowd, will be at Behavioral Health on Thursday, November 3rd and Friday, November 4th for traditional healing. Please call (989) 775-4850 for an appointment. 

 

Jake & Mary Pine, Traditional Healers, will be at 7th Generation on Thursday, November 3rd & Friday, November 4th. Please call (989) 775-4787 to make an appointment. 

 

Tribal Child Welfare Affidavits are due Friday, November 4th by 5:00 pm.

 

Ziibiwing Spirit Feast takes place on Friday, November 4th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

Andahwod Craft Fair will be held Saturday, November 5th from 10 am – 4 pm.

 

No School for SCA Tuesday, November 8th for Staff Professional Development.

 

Ghost Supper at 7th Generation on Wednesday, November 9th  5 pm – 8 pm & Tuesday, November 22nd  6 pm – 8 pm.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, November 9th & November 23rd  from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Old Council Conference Room.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, November 9th & November 23rd at Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.

 

Elders Frankenmuth Day Trip will take place on Thursday, November 10th at 9 am.

 

Anishinaabemowin Sacred Fire Lunch will be held Thursday, November 10th from 12 pm – 1 pm at 7th Generation Ceremonial Building.

 

Behavioral Health Family Dinner will be held at the Tribal Gym Thursday, November 10th from 6 pm – 9 pm.

 

SCA Parent-Teacher Conferences Friday, November 11th from 8 am – 5 pm.

 

Ziibiwing Collection Showing will take place Saturday, November 12th thru Saturday, November 19th from 10 am – 6 pm.

 

Elder/Infant Story Time at Andahwod on Monday, November 14th from 10:30 am – 11:30 am.

 

Saganing Bingo with Friends takes place on Tuesday, November 15th 10:30 am – 2 pm.

Tribal Observer December issue deadline is Monday, November 15th at 5 pm. 

 

Bingo with Friends will take place at Andahwod on Wednesday, November 16th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.

 

Lunch, Learn and Bingo Presentation with Nimkee on Thursday, November 17th from 12 pm – 1 pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Elder & Youth Thanksgiving Dinner will be held Thursday, November 17th from 4 pm – 6:30 pm at Andahwod.

 

A Financial Workshop will take place on Thursday,  November 17th at the Housing Conference Room starting at noon with lunch. 

 

Ziibiwing Circle of Indigenous Arts Friday, November 18th & Saturday, November 19th from 10 am – 6 pm.

 

Member Services Craft Day will be held on Monday, November 21st from 10 am – 5 pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Saganing Thanksgiving Dinner will be Thursday, November 22nd from 2pm – 3 pm.

 

No School for SCA Thursday, November 24th & Friday, November 25th.

 

Andahwod Birthday Bingo will take place on Saturday, November 26th 12 pm – 3 pm.

 

7th Generation Drum Workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 29th from 5 pm – 8 pm.

 

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

Euchre Mondays take place at Andahwod 6 pm.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week.  Mondays  -  5:30  pm to 7 pm  and  Fridays  - 11:30  am  to 1 pm.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held every Tuesday at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Jewelry with Kay at Andahwod takes place the first Tuesday of month from 1 pm – 3 pm.

 

Open Crafts with Elisa at Andahwod every Tuesday at 5 pm.

 

Anishinaabemowin Learning is held every Tuesday and Thursday 6 pm – 7 pm at the ALRD building.

 

Keyboarding and Learnkey is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Fridays from 10 am to Noon at the IT

department. 

 

Lunch Bunch Anishinaabemowin is held on Wednesdays from 12 noon – 1 pm at the ALRD building.

 

Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 6 pm to 9 pm.

 

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 3 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Lacrosse practice takes place every Thursday at the Tribal Gym from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

 

Beading & Craft Classes are held every Thursday  from  5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Behavioral Health (new location).

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.

 

Free septic & well inspections for Tribal Members who live in Indian Health Service area.  Please call (989) 775-4014 to schedule an appointment.
