3rd Annual Prescription Drug Drop-Off 5-12-16
5/12/2016 3:00:00 PM - Tribal Observer

The Drug Drop Off started at 10am and continues until 4pm.  Please be sure to clean out your medicine cabinets  and join us in properly disposing all expired or unused prescription drugs at the 3rd Annual Prescription Drug Drop-Off at the Farmers Market Pavilion (corner of Broadway and Leaton).  $10 in SECR Premium Play will be provided to everyone (must be 18 years old) who drops off their unused and/or expired prescription drugs at the event (limit one voucher per person).  All participants will also be entered into a drawing for great prizes, including the grand prize – a backyard gas grill.  Free hot dogs and drinks will be available at the event along with music and live radio coverage!

A total of 66 pounds of prescription drugs were disposed of in our last two prescription drug drop-offs.  That is 66 pounds of drugs that never made it to the street or in the hands of youth.  Taking part in the prescription drug drop-off is a fantastic way to help us prevent the misuse and abuse of drugs in the community.  Help us save lives by properly disposing of your expired or unused prescription drugs!
