Hello all,

Here are the E.coli results from this week. The levels are much higher than last week due to recent storm events.

Please distribute the attached information.

E. coli levels on the Chippewa River were sampled at School Rd bridge crossing,  Meridian Park, Chip-A-Waters Park, North Branch Chippewa River near Meridian Road

and Chippewa Rd bridge crossing on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015. The results are as follows:

School Rd bridge crossing:

Daily Geometric Mean: 39

30-Day Geometric Mean: 18

The mean E.coli level at School Rd bridge crossing of 39 is currently below 300, the State of Michigan Water Quality Standard for Daily Geometric Mean. The 30-Day Geometric mean of 18 is currently below 130, the State of Michigan Water Quality Standard for 30-Day Geometric Mean.

Meridian Park:

Daily Geometric Mean: 339

30-Day Geometric Mean: 139

The mean E.coli level at Meridian park of 339 is currently above 300, the State of Michigan Water Quality Standard for Daily Geometric Mean. The 30-Day Geometric mean of 139 is currently above 130, the State of Michigan Water Quality Standard for 30-Day Geometric Mean.

Daily Geometric Mean: 1843
