Boozhu! Please join us for the 89th Anniversary of the Mt. Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School closing. In order to honor our cultural leaders and the spirituality that they uphold, we have elected not to assign individual starting times on the day’s events. 

This year we will  be presented with a new MIIBS Student Eagle Staff that was created by Paul Walker and Larry Verga baa. The MIIBS Committee will facilitate a panel of boarding school survivors who are on their way to healing and wellness.  Christian Nakarado, Architect, Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians will update us on MIIBS schematic design project as well.
