COVID Reminders

It is the time of year when we are seeing a slight increase in the number of COVID positive cases along with other illnesses. Please be mindful during this time and do not come to work if you are experiencing the symptoms below. Staff should immediately inform their direct supervisor/manager/director and a testing form will be completed. If staff test at a facility outside of Nimkee, they have 5 days from the test date to send results to the cvdnotify @sagchip.org email group. Attached are the current guidelines to address with staff.

• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

Known positive cases of COVID should not be working. If a staff member is diagnosed with a positive COVID tests and their symptoms are gone or mostly gone by day 5, they update their direct supervisor/manager/director. That information will be sent to the CVDNOTIFY team and will be cleared by the Occupational Health Nurse. Staff should not be returning to work until a date is provided and will need to wear a mask for a time period provided.
