Funeral Services for Josiah will be held at The Tribal Gym on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doyle Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. A Luncheon will follow the committal service at The Tribal Gym. The family will receive friends at 3754 Digwaagi Lane, Mt. Pleasant, beginning Thursday, August 18, from 5 p.m. until Saturday Morning. Visitation will continue at the Tribal Gym from 12 noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel, the residence, and The Tribal Gym. 

Josiah was born on October 4, 2005, in Mt. Pleasant, son of Alexandro Hernandez, Sr. and Suzanne Wemigwans. In grade school, Josiah enjoyed wrestling for the Shepherd Wrestling Team, while being coached by his uncle, Casey Smith. He recently graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School at the age of 16, with the class of 2022. Josiah was an aspiring hip hop musician and loved to perform. He loved his family and was proud to become a father to his amazing daughter, Selena. Josiah was a pure soul and loved everyone he came across. He was equally loved in return. 

Josiah is survived by his daughter, Selena Emory Hernandez-Wemigwans; special friend, Rachel Howard; mother, Suzanne Wemigwans; father, Alexandro Hernandez, Sr.; sister, Sara Wemigwans and Waasnodeh Davis-Hernandez; brother, AJ Hernandez, Jr.; grandparents, Harold Bruno Wemigwans, Jacqueline Wemigwans; aunts, Carrie Wemigwans, Marilee Fleming, Marie Fleming, Julianne (Ogema) Taylor, and Geraldine Fleming; uncle, Bruno (Joleen) Wemigwans, Keeshta (Courtney) Wemigwans, and special uncle, Philemon "Bean" Sprague; many cousins, including Martha (John) Wemigwans; extended family, Cheyenne and Jason Flores; and many friends and family that cared for him from Canada to Wisconsin. 

Josiah was preceded in death by his grandma, Paula Hart; great-grandparents, John and Joyce Hart, Walter and Geraldine Trepanier; uncle, Patrick Trepanier, Joseph Trepanier; great-aunts, Francine Trepanier, Jolene Wilson; cousins, Daniel Wemigwans, Jordan Wilson, Donald Miller III, Debiziikwe Renae Wemigwans, and Anthony Jones.
