Respected Tribal community and Pow wow

attendees,

At a time of uncertainty and unprecedented

challenges brought about by the current

pandemic, the Pow wow Committee of the

Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe has made the

very painful decision to cancel this year's

annual Powwow's to have been held on July

24-26, and the Saganing Traditional Pow wow,

September 12-13, 2020.

The committee felt that it would be in the best

interest of attendees, competitors and quests.

''We want to do our part to ensure our

community, friends, family and vendors remain

safe and healthy'' stated committee chairperson

Darcy Pilar.

The committee will be holding raffles for tire

and visa gift card( s) on August 07, 2020 at 2pm.

All proceeds will go to help fund the 2021 Pow

wow. Any questions or concerns please e-mail

safe, remain healthy and we look forward to

seeing you all next year.
