Tribal Observer granted more funds to continue mailing at no charge

Last year, the Tribal Observer department was faced with the challenging task of deducting our budget. We implemented the plan to mail and print less issues while allowing Tribal Elders (50+) to continue receiving their mailed complimentary copy.

We suggested members younger than 50 years of age view each issue online, free of charge or we offered them to subscribe for their continued mailed copy at half of our cost. This decision effectively met the criteria of the reduction that was requested.

Earlier this month, Tribal Council graciously granted the Tribal Observer more funds to continue mailing to head of household Tribal Members at no charge, in order to continue keeping all members informed. (We are very thankful for this!)

These changes begin this next issue, February 2015.

Those Non-Elder Tribal Members that have already paid for their annual subscription will be receiving their reimbursement check within the next couple of weeks.
