Gathering of Cultural Sharing takes place Saturday, December 1st at 7th Generation from 3 pm – 8 pm.

 

Christmas Craft Day will be held in Saganing on Tuesday, December 4th from 10 am – 1 pm.

 

Andahwod Sewing Extravaganza will be held Tuesday, December 4th from 1 pm – 8 pm with Potluck from 5:30 pm – 6 pm.

 

Youth Council will meet on Wednesday, December 5th & Wednesday, December 19th from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Recreation Teen Lounge.

 

Youth Basketball Open Gym takes place Wednesday, December 5th from 5:30 pm – 7 pm for 5th to 8th grade boys.

 

Language Bingo takes place Thursday, December 6th from 1 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

Saganing Trip to Down Gardens Christmas Walk will be held Thursday, December 6th from 5 pm – 9 pm.

 

Puzzle Night for Youth and Elders will take place at Andahwod Thursday, December 6th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Support Group will be held Thursday, December 6th from 7 pm – 8:30 pm in the Tribal Operations Seniors Room.

 

Saganing Star Tree Shopping Trip will be held on Friday, December 7th from 10 am – 3 pm.

 

Menopause Support Group will be held on Friday, December 7th from 12 pm – 3 pm in Nimkee Public Health Kitchen.

 

Andahwod Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 9 am – 3 pm.

 

Saganing Kids Christmas Fun takes place Saturday, December 8th from 10 am – 1 pm.

 

Learn to Play Hand Games will take place at 7th Generation on Sunday, December 9th from 3 pm – 6 pm.

 

Recreation Reason for the Season Event will take place in the Tribal Gym Monday, December 10th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

 

Snow Shoe Workshop takes place Monday, December 10th through Friday, December 14th from 5 pm – 8 pm at 7th Generation.

 

Performance Circle Winter Graduation will take place at Andahwod on Tuesday, December 11th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

“Neither Wolf Nor Dog” Movie Showing will be held Tuesday, December 11th from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Saganing Tribal Center.

 

Andahwod Christmas Brunch & Raffle Drawings take place Wednesday, December 12th from 11 am – 1pm.

 

Tribal Observer January Issue Deadline will be Wednesday, December 12th by 5 pm.

 

SCA’s Winter Program takes place Wednesday, December 12th from 6 pm – 8 pm at SECR Entertainment Hall.

 

Anishinaabemowin & Sacred Fire Lunch will take place at 7th Generation on Thursday, December 13th from 12 pm – 1 pm.

 

Ziibiwing Annual Appreciation Dinner will be held Thursday, December 13th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

Traditional Energy Teachings with Bruce Elijah will take place Tuesday, December 18th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

 

Recreation Family Bingo will take place Tuesday, December 18th from 5:30 pm – 8 pm in the Tribal Gym.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Board Meeting will be held Thursday, December 20th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

The Saginaw Chippewa/Isabella County FAN Monthly Forum will be held Thursday, December 20th from 7 pm – 8:30 pm at the Ziibiwing Cultural Center.

 

Tribal Operations and Related Offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24th through Tuesday, January 1st in Observance of Christmas and the New Year Holiday.

 

Elder’s New Year’s Eve Balloon Drop takes place Monday, December 31st at Andahwod from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

New Year’s Eve Teachings, Powwow & Feast will be held at the Tribal Gym on Monday, December 31st from 6 pm – 1 am.

 

Re-occurring Events:

 

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4 pm – 5 pm.

 

Bingo with Friends takes place the 2nd Monday of each month from 1 pm – 3 pm at Andahwod.

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays from 6 pm – 8 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health offers drop-in relapse prevention groups on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

 

Tobacco Ceremony and Eagle Wing Smudging takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 8 am – 12 pm.

 

Men’s Open Gym takes place on Tuesdays from 5 pm – 7 pm.

 

Anishinabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 7 pm – 8 pm.

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

 

Community Sewing Nights take place at 7th Generation every Thursday from 5 pm – 8 pm. 

 

Drums Out takes place on Thursdays from 6 pm – 8 pm at 7th Generation’s Blue House.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held on Fridays at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services from 10:30 am – 12 pm.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.
