Tribal PD Winter Weather Advisory

It has been reported that some roads to the north of our location are starting to get slippery.

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe would like to remind everyone of the incoming storm system scheduled to begin on Friday April 13, 2018. The National Weather Service is predicting that this spring storm will last through the weekend. Please be mindful and take the necessary precautions to ensure your safety in the event of power outages or accidents. Travel plans may be impacted and roads will be slippery and dangerous at times. If you must travel please be careful and take time to safely get to your destination. Our area is looking at significant ice accumulation and the National Weather Service is predicting that accumulations will be ½”or greater, as well as wind gusts up to 30 mph. Again, please plan accordingly and be safe.
