Registration for Sasiwaans Summer School Program will be begin May 1st until May 31st. Applications are available at the Sasiwaans front office or online at www.sagchip.org.

Traditional Teachings will take place in Saganing on Wednesday, May 3rd from 11 am – 1 pm.

Ziibiwing’s 13th Annual Birthday Sale will take place Thursday, May 4th from 10 am – 6 pm and Friday, May 5th from 10 am – 8 pm. Tribal Member’s may shop early from 8 am – 10 am with Tribal ID.

 

Tribal Child Welfare Affidavits are due Friday, May 5th by 5:00 pm. Post marked forms, mail or faxes will not be accepted.

 

Design Your “Water Is Life” T-Shirt Making class at 7th Generation on Friday, May 5th from 12 pm – 2 pm. Lunch will be provided.

 

Ziibiwing Center’s Kids Night will take place Friday, May 5th from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

Performance Circle Graduation will be held at Andahwod on Tuesday, May 9th at 6 pm.

 

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, May 10th & Wednesday, May 24th at Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.

 

4th Annual Prescription Drug Drop-Off will take place at the Farmers Market Pavilion on Wednesday, May 10th from 10 am – 4 pm.

New Spirit Meetings are held every Sunday at Behavioral Health 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

 

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

 

Prevention Thru Art takes place every Monday  from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Behavioral Health. (Previously held on Thursdays as Beading Class with Alice Jo)

 

Euchre with Potluck takes place on Mondays 6 pm at Andahwod.

Struggling or need support?  Residential Treatment Center – Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week.  Mondays  -  5:30  pm to 7 pm  and  Fridays  - 11:30  am  to 1 pm.

 

Active Parenting Now Classes are held every Tuesday at Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services.

 

Performance Circle Classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Ziibiwing.

 

Crafts with Friends will be held every Tuesday from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the 7th Generation Building.

 

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Seniors Room of Tribal Operations from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

 

Narcotics Anonymous takes place every Tuesday in the Behavioral Health Lodge from 6 pm – 8 pm.

 

Jewelry with Kay at Andahwod takes place the first Tuesday of month from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

 

Women’s Support Group meets every third Tuesday at Behavioral Health from 5:30 pm – 7 pm.

Keyboarding and Open Lab is held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm at the IT

Tai Chi classes are held on Thursdays at Andahwod. $6 per person - free for SCIT Elders.

 

The 7th Generation Talking Circle takes place on Thursdays  from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd Rds.

 

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture takes place every Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm at Behavioral Health on Shepherd Road.

Sweat Lodge at Behavioral Health 5:30 pm – 11:00 pm every first Friday of the month.

 

The Tribal Clerk’s Office is closed every Friday for walk in/desk services for Administrative Office Day.
