Here are the E.coli results from this week. The levels are higher than last week most likely due to the heavy rain over the weekend.

E. coli levels on the Chippewa River were sampled at School Rd bridge crossing, Meridian Park, Chip-A-Waters Park, North Branch Chippewa River near Meridian Road
and Chippewa Rd bridge crossing on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015. The results are as follows:
School Rd bridge crossing:
Daily Geometric Mean: 49
30-Day Geometric Mean: 42
The mean E.coli level at School Rd bridge crossing of 49 is currently below 300, the State of Michigan Water Quality Standard for Daily Geometric Mean. The 30–Day Geometric mean of 42 is currently below 130, the State of Michigan Water Quality Standard for 30-Day Geometric Mean.
