Constance Elaine Pallett age 72, of Clare, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Andahwod Assisted Living in Mt. Pleasant.

According to Connie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will held at a later date.

Connie was born on March 25, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant, the granddaughter of Peter & Adeline Collins-Pelcher, daughter of Charles Marion Wright and Mable (Pelcher) Wright. She attended and graduated from Clare High School with the class of 1971. Connie married Leon Edwin Pallett on May 7, 1997, in Clare.

She worked as a laundry attendant at the Emerald Isle Laundromat in Clare. Connie was a proud member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and was a huge fan of her son Samuel’s Indigenous cooking adventures. She always enjoyed traveling with her daughter Teri and grandkids.

Connie was an incredibly loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her generous and supportive nature.

Connie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Leon; children, Samuel (Amy) Anglin and Teri (Kassi) Anglin; brothers, Harvey/Mike (Mary Jo) Wright, and Bernie (Pam) Wright; sister, Mary Ann (Fred) Pelcher/Hegyi; grandchildren Dakota (Aaron) Anglin, Samuel Carl Anglin, Marcus Quintero, nieces and nephews, Sarah (Chris) Jones, Kimberly (Derek) Condon, Theresa (Derek) Carter, Josh (Roxanne) Hegyi; Karen Sinn and Shelly Birdsey.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, , first husband of 17 years, Samuel Lee Anglin; brother, Carl (Sandy) Pelcher.
