You are invited to celebrate spring, water resources, seed knowledge and sharing while raising awareness for water protection, collective community stewardship actions, environmental and human health, environmental impacts, natural resources, and the Great Lakes basin.
What: Ziigwan (Spring) Celebration
When: Friday, March 20th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm
Where: SCTC Main Lobby (5805 E. Pickard Rd., Mt. Pleasant)
Activities: Water Song Drawing Challenge with prizes, Button Making, Coloring Pages, and more!
Partners: Environmental Team, Project Venture, SCTC LGO, ALRD, Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Libraries , City of Mount Pleasant Sustainability, Michigan Citizen’s for Water Conservation, American Indian Higher Education Consortium, Forest Hill Nature Area, Gratiot-Isabella RESD, Central Michigan University Sustainability, Chippewa Watershed Conservancy, Saginaw River Bay AOC, and Intertribal Council of Michigan.
