Join us to celebrate our community, Michigan, outdoor recreation, stewardship, and our beautiful winters with some winter-themed activities, crafts, education, and snow play!

What: Winter Recreation & Environmental Education Celebration

When: Friday, January 9th from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Where: SCTC Main Lobby (5805 E. Pickard St.)

Event Includes:

·         Door & Raffle Prizes

·         Education Focuses:  Winter Bird Feeding & Local Species; Salt Wise, Salt Less; Winter Recreation & Safety; Winter Environmental Stewardship Actions; Odyssey Project Based Environmental Education Class & Youth Trail Blazers Program; Birds, Banding, Taxidermy, & How Feathers Keep Birds Warm; Invasive Species; Protecting Biodiversity; Vernal Pools & What Amphibians Do in the Winter

·         Winter-themed Craft, & Outdoor Activities: Ornament Painting, Sun Catcher Painting, Button Making, Fairy Window Making, Book Mark or Card Making, Coloring Sheets while also making crafts for Andawhod, Tribal Elders, and Tribal Departments, & Playing Outdoors in the Snow (Parent Supervised)
