Gina ina owe gimazina’igan? Is this your book?
Happening now through April 2026
The deadline to submit your completed and print-ready book draft is May 1, 2026
SIGN UP is now open! You must sign up in person at the Tribal Library to receive your free swag bag filled with writing supplies! Supplies limited, first come first served, no holds, one per person. Library hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, closed official Tribal holidays, located in the Tribal College building at 5805 E Pickard Road.
You asked and we listened: now you have the opportunity to write your own book and have it published through the Tribal Libraries.
Help is available: use the on-demand training available through your Tribal Library OR sit down with a supplemental instructor at the Tribal College to get assistance with writing, editing, proofreading, and more.
You get to choose what your book is and how it looks: Paperback or hardcover? Novel, things you know to be true, art, photographs, or something else? Color or black and white? Many options are available to make your book just right.
You retain all rights and copyright to your book: Copies of your book will be added to the Tribal Libraries collection and you will receive at least one copy of your book.
All books created during this project and their authors will be celebrated in summer 2026, more details to come!
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and is subject to the availability of grant funds.
