The Ziibiwing Center is a museum and cultural center built to share the history of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan with the rest of the world.

The minimum amount is ten people and reservations are required.


7. How has gaming affected the tribe?(top)

Through the resiliency of our ancestors we have endured and overcome many obstacles that were placed before us. The recent success of our gaming and entertainment operation has enabled us to better provide for the needs of our community. Housing, health care, and educational opportunities have greatly improved in the past twenty years. Our economic success has also given us the means to begin to reclaim the history of our people and share it with the rest of the world.

Taking photos is allowed for educational use only. Photos must be taken with a non-flash camera.

9. When did the Ziibiwing Center open? (top)

The Ziibiwing Center opened May 21, 2004.

13. How much time will it take me to go through the exhibits? (top)

On average, the Permanent Exhibit could take anywhere from 1 to 1 ½ hours and the Changing Exhibit could take 15 to 30 minutes. If you wish to visit the Gift Shop or Research Center, be sure to allot yourself extra time.
