Youth LEAD activity strikes over spring break
Joseph V. Sowmick - April 02, 2014
In an effort to provide bonus coverage, Team Observer joins with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe Youth LEAD Department in support of their spring break family bowling outing at Chippewa Lanes on April 2nd.
There were 29 registered bowlers who competed in the event as well as many family members who cheered on the youth and adult participants.
“At Youth LEAD, we will always strive to put the active in activities” Youth LEAD Activities Manager Ronnie Ekdahl informs.. “Just seeing the youth and community coming out to have fun on a weekday afternoon is encouraging for the many LEAD programs we offer at the Tribe.”
Ekdahl mentions that Chippewa Lanes will be hosting the 3rd Annual Rez Rollers Bowling Tournament on Saturday, April 12th and event coordinator Luke Sprague is still taking registrations for interested teams.
