Step 1 : Prospective employee is notified that they have been selected for a position within Soaring Eagle Gaming.
Step 2: They are given the required paperwork to receive drug/TB Screening and the Gaming Commissions background application. Click here for a background check application.
Step 3: They are then given a date on which they must report back to have the TB test read. Also on this date, they are told that they have three (3) days to complete and return the background investigation packet.
Step 4: Upon completion of the background packet and within the three (3) day time frame, the background packet along with the color coded cover sheet, Social Security Card, Drivers License (correct address) Central Michigan ID card/Tribal Membership card $65.00 cash must be brought to the Gaming Commission office. (Canadian Citizens must provide a Canadian Police Information Center (C-PIC) and Motor Vehicle Report)
Step5: The prospective employee will then meet with a background investigator. They will go over the information in the packet, fingerprint and photograph the employee.
Step 6: An investigation will be started. If no derogatory information is obtained during the investigation, the employee will be issued a temporary license. The Gaming Commission staff will notify the employee if more information is need or the permanent license is available for pick up.
Step 7: The employee picks up their temporary license and is allowed to attend orientation.
