Staff Introduction

Research Center Coordinator

The Research Center Coordinator is responsible for developing and updating the finding aides, inventories, care and organization of the historic archives of the tribe. The Coordinator serves as an archivist and librarian, while working with the patrons accessing our collections, as well as, manages the archival collections.

Research Center Specialist

The Research Center Specialist assists patrons with historical family research, such as their genealogy, public and private agencies with historical land research relating to today's building projects. The Specialist also accepts and manages our tribal collections.

Career Development Intern

The Career Development Intern is an intern with the Higher Education Department. The Intern currently inputs data and sends responses to Historic Preservation inquiries. The Intern also helps Research Center personnel with answering phones and assisting patrons with their research needs.


The Curator is responsible for managing the artifacts in the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan's collection, as well as, overseeing the permanent exhibit and rotating changing exhibitions.
