Educator Workshops & Training

To assist educators in identifying and teaching about topics related to American Indian history, culture, and contemporary life, the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways is committed to providing periodic trainings and/or workshops. These trainings and workshops are developed with specific topics and age groups in mind, but may be beneficial to educators of multiple grade levels. Information on the next educator training is available below. These workshops will include in depth lesson plans developed by the Ziibiwing Center for classroom use, as well as information on our American Indian Boarding School Curriculum Guide.
