An event to unite community women and promote healthy lifestyles in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is planned for Oct. 26.

The Ninth Annual Feather Link Tea will take place at the Soaring Eagle Resort on Oct. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

CMU to host 16th annual powwow traditional style

The traditional aspects of the Native American culture is reflected in this year’s annual powwow hosted by Central Michigan University Oct. 2 in Finch Fieldhouse.

The annual event is a time for people to gather and get exposure to the Native American culture, according to organizers.
