To better accommodate the view Soaring Eagle concert goers have in the Entertainment Hall, a new seating arrangement will be implemented starting with the Glenn Frey show on July 20.

Tables have been eliminated with the new plan, resulting in a 3,523 seating arrangement with the following breakdown:

-Platinum 405 -Gold 786 -Silver 1,830 -Bronze (general admission) 376 and Obstructed View 126.

The former seating plan allowed for 3,260 tickets to be sold.

"We did it to improve the sight lines for our customers," stated William Masterson Soaring Eagle executive director of Marketing, Entertainment and Sales. "These are seats only and not a bleacher-type of arrangement."

A state-of-the-art sound system was recently implemented and utilized for the first time during the Black Crowes show on May 19 and compliments an already existing top-shelf lighting system.

"The speakers are set up in an arc formation with each of them featuring a certain degree of sound dispersion that overlaps where the sound is targeted. The people in the front are getting the same sound as the people in the back."

As a reminder, Saginaw Chippewa Tribal members now have the opportunity to purchase Soaring Eagle concert tickets the day before they go on sale to the general public.

Members-including Elders-may purchase up to 12 tickets per show. The Elders' discount only applies to one ticket per show, per Elder. Presale tickets can only be purchased at the Soaring Eagle Box Office and members must provide their Tribal identification card at the time of purchase.

The ticket presale option for Tribal members began on May 19 for Mickey Gilley's July 14 performance.
